Keith and I competed at the IFSS Dryland World Championships held in Germany (2006/07 season) [Keith 1st place 4-dog; Mandie 7th place 4-dog]. There was a large contigent from the UK and I think we all did our country proud with the results.

Keith competed at the IFSS Dryland World Championships held in Poland (2004/05 season) and Belgium (2005/06 season). Both times he travelled with fellow UK musher and friend, Steven Lindsay, and in Belgium they were joined by Graeme Scott and Max Wightman.
According to Keith and Steven, Poland was a great race, probably because it was “all boys together” as their handler for the race was another friend, Tobias Leask. I’m sure we have not heard half of the stories of what went on over there!
The race in Belgium was a very wet affair as you will see from the picture on this page and in the Gallery. However, as we are used to racing in the rain in Britain, “Team UK” did very well, with everyone placing highly. Their handler for the race, Fiona, did well to keep them all in check for the weekend, I’m sure!
Unfortunately, due to work committments, we have been unable to compete at any dryland races in Europe for the last few years and this probably won't change in the near future. However, friends from the UK continue to do well at these events and we wish all the competitors who make the long journey to these races, good luck.
