These dogs have completely taken over our lives and we feel very fortunate to have them. We have had so much fun running with them over the last 14 years and have met some wonderful friends along the way.

Scandinavian Hound
Male - dob: 20.09.2002
Monty is a full brother to Spike and shows the same competitiveness within the team. Monty is an excellent leader and is the hardest working dog we have ever owned. He will be a hard act to follow for the new dogs coming into the team! At 6 years old, he will still be leading our up and coming team this season.

Male - dob: 4.02.2004
Brother to Bud, Sol is the joker of the pack. A beautifully built dog with an excellent running gait. He took a couple of years to find his feet in the team, but is now one of the best dogs. Like his brother, he is also happier somewhere at the back of the team but takes a turn up lead now and again. He is father to Mac and Tosh.

Tosh is full brother to Mac. We got him a year after Mac and despite initial worries, he has fitted in well to the kennel. He is a quiet boy and a bit of a thinker. He is coming on well in harness and we have high hopes for him. He loves nothing better than playing chase in the garden with his brother and Remey.

Our only "pointy eared" hound (thanks to Assam), Stitch is one of the most friendly and loving dogs we own. So much so, that he spends the vast majority of his life in the house with us! He is an excellent runner, with boundless energy and is currently running at wheel with Remey, although we hope to continue giving him his turn at lead.

Female - dob: 28.07.2007
Remey is our "princess" and the only female amongst the Scandinavian Hounds. She has the sweetest nature and also spends a lot of time in the house with us and Stitch. She is a natural born runner and took to harness work easily. Keith will give her some time to mature and will hopefully start to train her to run lead for the start of the 2009 season.
Cumbrian Trailhound
Male - dob: June 1998
Bruce was rescued from the Cumbrian Trailhound Rescue Centre at 18 months old and was our first introduction to running a "non-nordic" breed. He surpassed all our expectations and has been a great member of the team, helping to train both Monty and Spike as puppies.

Female - dob: 21.02.2001
We got Prue as a puppy and she has turned out to be a wonderful sled dog. She is happy to run up lead or at wheel and is a solid little worker.

Female - dob: 1.04.2001
Phoebe also came to us as a puppy. What she lacks in size, she makes up for in speed and attitude (its amazing how powerful she is for such a tiny dog). Phoebe is a leader and doesn't like being anywhere else in the team.

Laikas Orly
Siberian Husky
Female - dob: 23.06.1998
Orly has been an amazing dog over the years. We can truthfully say in her hey day she was one of the best working Sibes in the country, helping Keith to win over 30 1st places. She is now a house dog and is loving every minute of being in front of the fire, although is still running in Mandie's team with the 3 Trailhounds.
Wyphursts Buffy
Siberian Husky
Female - dob: 9.02.2000
Buffy is a lovely girl with a good working attitude. She was in Keith's team that won 2 4-dog and 2 3-dog championships and made such a tremendous contribution. She now lives in the house alongside Orly.
Her puppies are also doing well in the teams in which they run.
